Philippians | Jul 10th 2008

Well, I’m on a roll and I’m just sitting here waiting for the time to pass until 330 for work. Sooo, I guess I’ll read and blog a little bit of what I’ve read.

Philippians 1

Key verse(s): 27

“Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good news about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News.”

reflection: This chapter was actually hard for me to pick a key verse because in all, this whole chapter is really good. I really love how Paul doesn’t care that he’s in jail, he still believes in God and still has faith and knows that he is there for a reason only which God knows. He is so joyful to be there and so happy to see everyone in good faith.

  1. Lol you’ve blogged more than I have recently. :P

But it’s good you’re reading. That was one of the verses I liked too when we read Philippians for Small Groups.
