Posted this a LONG time ago, but I feel it still has big impacts.
So I definitely slacked over the past few days with not blogging. Sorry, Florida really drained me and I’ve been running on E since then. I get to where I start to blog, realize that I’m way too tired to make sense .. give up and go to sleep.
Swimming is coming to a close and I am really excited to be able to start working again, having money, and hanging out with friends. It frustrates me a lot that I’m kinda “stuck” hanging out with people who don’t believe the same things I do… It’s very awkward, and not at all a healthy relationship. They influence me just as much as I influence them and often times they win, causing ME to almost or almost do this, or that. Swimming is almost over! yess.
PS: My skin is so dry and my fore-head has major acne. gross
PPS: I’ve been doing well with keeping things out of my mind , like TV and Songs!
I wish i could move everyone i know to Florida… I’m on the bus right now on my way home. 994 miles till Middletown, CT. I’m listening to my iPod on my iPhone and a rap song comes on. Of course it has swears every other word. Does it affect me? I don’t know. I like rap music. I guess it’s a dirty secret. I listen to it, no it’s not Christlike but I don’t think I emulate what they talk about. I don’t listen to it if I’m around someone who doesn’t like it, for respect. Do you think it’s okay I listen to it? And if not, do you think it’s still okay to listen to “radio” music when some songs are just as explicative and inuendoist?

But the Lord was with Joseph and everything that was in the warden’s care was moved to Joseph’s care because he was close with God.
When I read this I figures because Joseph was so close with Gos that God would bail him out and set him free out of the prison. Nope, that was not Gods plan. It really surprised me that instead, he got control over everything that was the wardens. God trusted him and knew he could work more in the Prison than out on the run from the Emporer. Or Pharoah or whatever he was called.
Psalm 42

I thirst for God, for the living God.
How many times does one thirst for God? What gives a thirst. I think humans were made to be thirsty for God. We try to fill that thirst with other things and it never works. What does living God mean?
Genesis 38

Uhhhh, what? LOL that is quite interesting, alright then …..

How much it takes for people to trust in the lord, when we put our trust in the lord for salvation but we don’t trust him for our money. Pffft

Joseph brothers were blinded by the intense jealousy of Gods destiny and plan. They took matters into their owns hands and did what they thought were best. Never a good idea, I know a few chances I have taken matters into my own hands. I hope as I grow with God it becomes less and less an option to take it into my own hands

Sin is everywhere and it’s pretty sang tootin hard to avoid it. Put some effort in and stay in Gods word and it’ll be easy, I’m learning that as I read daily

I remember when I first started to go to LP we had either a retreat or it was a Friday night and we got split up I to groups to learn about different things in the bible. Mike chose me to teach about Esau and only gave us 1 minute to find the person and read about them. Needless to say I made some rediculous stuff up on the spot. Haha, but LP was an amazing incredible time, what Mike had to deal with and give up to reach kids that hated church was a godsend. This’ll greatly help Cinema

I was stone silent, I held back the urge to speak.
What you hear is what you think is how you act. A lot of times I don’t watch the most Christian of things.( family guy, real world etc ) hearing swears and offensive language is hard not to think about. When someone says something sometimes I have to bite my tongue. Rachel says we should watch what we see but I haven’t been too onto it recently.
It takes a lot of concentration to write on the iPhone and stuff, I forgot my bible at my house and so I have the wordpress app and the bible app alternating. LOL

Why did his father call him something different than what his mother wanted to call him? This confused me, there wasn’t much that happened in this chapter that I read, maybe I missed something

How many times does god try to talk to me but I don’t hear him! When does he say to do something and I completely ignore him because it’s not what I want. Lord give me the strength to do what you want.

Uhhhh I’m confused. Hamor and Shechem both did what they were told to do but because Jacob was so angry about them sexually assualting their sister they still killed them?? Uh

Their swords will pierce their own hearts and their bows will be broken
It seems often times the bible teaches us to deal with others, how to be polite and godly. But sometimes it talks about the vile and wicked people and the great pain they will feel for their wrongdoings. I wonder where that line is drawn in the ground. Am I someone who will have their bow broken?
I remember writing about this last year but as of now it’s 2am and I’m on a bus in my shorts and nothing else because it’s so hot LOL yeah haha

Well, this made me chuckle because bowing shows a sign of respect, but when i read this it made me this he had an OCD problem. haha
Psalm 36:

The devil never rests and neither do the people with him. Sin is always around us trying to crack out godly shell, trying to pry God from our heart. Like an epic battle. SICK!

Peter was so heart broken when he realized how he actions told the truth of a sinner, someone who doesn’t know God. He denied knowing Jesus and it finally hit him. I wonder what actions in my life show my denial of jesus. I hope none.
